The Problem: Students struggle to discover universities globally, filter by region/state, and trust data freshness.
The Solution: Built a real-time discovery engine with structured filtering logic over global APIs, delivering search results in < 1s.

How I Engineered This
API handling uses structured async states with clear loading and error boundaries. Filtering is composed as deterministic client-side logic to keep interactions instant. Carousel behavior is tuned with lightweight timing control and minimal repaint pressure. Performance is improved by reducing dependency weight and optimizing data flow before render. Responsive breakpoints are validated for mobile-first stability without reducing desktop density.
